Diu Town.

Staying in Diu town, there were several birding areas within walking distance of the hotel - most notably the area around Diu Fort (marked on tourist maps as a deer park - I think the deer are long gone) and the lake and marsh at the Hotel Krishna Park (billed as a water sports centre, tho' I wouldn't go anywhere near the water myself, part of it being an open sewer !).
The area around the fort held Yellow-wattled Lapwings, Desert Wheatears and Chestnut-tailed Starlings, Hotel Krishna Park had the usual water birds plus the only Little Heron of the trip.
