New and improved ?

With Blogger doing a new and improved version of things, it meant that for several days I couldn't do any updates, plus a couple of posts have gone missing into the ether, and finally, when everything was supposedly OK I couldn't log in !!!
So here's a summary from the last few weeks -

Mute.

The only slightly interesting thing today was 5 Mute Swans on the Loch, this would have been a pretty good patch year-tick (quite scarce at Scatness) had there not already been 3 in West Voe on January 5th.

Mute.

A quick dash out late afternoon for 3 Mute Swans in West Voe, taking the patch year-list to 44. Other than the 2 Redwings and 2 Robins in the garden the only other thing of note was a Jack Snipe flushed from the roadside next to Pool of Virkie.
